Dont take this as a knock; take it as someone who has been involved in organizing 2 progun rallies in Hartford already. Having it on a Saturday is a double-edged sword. More attendees can go, but the people you want to notice - the legislators and law makers - are not there. Nobody will notice unles...

Then how does this really do anything? Anyone who wants to see what we're up to can make a free acount with a throw away email address and look around. It would be about as effective as all the gun control laws are at preventing crime.

For those who were ok with the ammo bill, here ya go: http://www.blumenthal.senate.gov/ammunition-background-check-act-of-2013 If Senator Dick has his way, every time you buy ammo you will have to go through the exact same procedure as buying a handgun. If you buy over 1000 rounds (2 bricks of .22) ...

If everyone has that attitude you will be correct. However, just 2 years ago, this same ammunition bill was defeated. The magazine bill was defeated. I'm seeing FAR more interest in fighting these this time around then 2yrs ago. Tuesday night CCDL had to move their monthly meeting into a banquet hal...

It sounds like an add-on charge for felons found to be in possession of ammo upon arrest, not a background check at Wal Mart. I actually wouldn't mind having to flash a permit or hunting license when purchasing ammo. That proves you're not a felon. Both are revoked upon felony arrest. As easy and p...

I actually don't have a problem with the ammo bill. If that appeases them, so be it. You might want to rethink that. How do you think they are going to be able to enforce that? The only way a store will know if you are a felon or not is to run a background check. Imagine having to go through the sa...

http://ccdl.us/blog/2013/01/05/members-update/ Legislative Session Begins January 9th CCDL is preparing for the legislative session. We are certain to see numerous gun control bills introduced, and we must be willing to make both the effort and sacrifice to prove that law abiding gun owners are not ...

NH was already in the near term plans. If it comes down to confiscation, I'll move those items there ASAP, and then look for property.

I'm gonna agree with PaiN on this, and so have the courts. These scumbags have every right to spew their hateful beliefs. That said, myself and about 3000 other bikers have just as much right to show up and make sure their free speech doesnt interfere with the funerals. And that's exactly what we pl...

I'm building an AR based off a custom lower from York Arms. http://yorkarms.com/receiver.html Since these are custom made, I have virtually unlimited options for engraving. Besides a custom serial number, I can have the magwell, caliber, and selector switch settings engraved any way I like. Since I ...

Just an FYI, it appears Engrave Your Gift is in fact in violation of Federal Law. He is actively advertising that he works on gun on his website, and I can find no listing for an FFL under his name or his company. According to the ATF: A license is needed to engrave, customize, refinish, or repair a...
