I'll be up at WLOPA in the morning if anyone wants to blast through a clip with me. Too bad I have to work this morning :( I'd love to see that rifle in person and in action.... (and if I don't already know you from the club , meet you also... ) These boards are funny that way. It's amazing ...

Today's ATA shoot was at the Harford Gun Club, so afterwards I made a pilgrimage to Cabella's. Holy cow, how depressing! I would never have believed the ammo department could look like that! A few boxes of .17 HMR and a load of Russian Nagant ammo...and pretty much nothing else for pistols. Odd-cali...

7.62x54R surplus not going to matter much longer anyways when they sign on to that UN small arms and ammo treaty means no more surplus ammo from overseas That will never pass the House (and probably not the Senate either,) a requirement of it becoming a U.S. law. Your lead-core Mosin-Nagant ammo is...

Sorry...make that silver/yellow tip ammo.

Does anyone know if surplus 7.62x54R is consider "armor-piercing" under the new law? I know there are metallic (magnetic) components in those bullets, but to what extent I have no idea. How about M855 5.56mm? Depends on when it was manufactured. The silver/gold tip ammo is generally steel...

Maybe we can share a list here of out-of-state retailers that carry ammo. Let's face it, we all live within an hour and a half of at least four states that have no such restrictions on ammo. The only people these dummies in Hartford will be hurting is gun stores here in CT. If Danny Boy doesn't want...
