I'm not going to turn this into a caliber argument, but I have to say that I don't see a really... practical... reason to get the .40. It doesn't do anything the 9x19 or .45acp does any better. There's also a reason there aren't many OLDER guns in .40 around either. Unlike the .45, 9x19, etc., .40 ...

Pretty much that. Well, that and I filled a few 20gal. totes with water. Plenty of canned goods as well (hell, even spaghetti sauce can be eaten alone in times of distress!).

The rest? Ammo. Can't have enough of it. :lol:

Hayes, I'm not saying that the club is at fault for anything.

I cannot be associated with MC members in any way, shape, or form; even by proximity. If they are there, I cannot be there.

Biker = A-OK.

Biker wearing vest with rocker = NOT A-OK.

Tell you what, the M&P's are really hard to go wrong with.

I don't like polymer, but I'm getting an M&P9 upon getting my permit. I really, really like them, along with all of their other incarnations.

Can't go wrong!

I have run probably six or seven magazine's worth through the M&P .45.

Liked it a LOT LOT (and I don't like polymer guns!) :)

My father has been a member for 20+ years, but I tend to steer clear of the place. I'll occationally go with him to fish in the bathtub sized pond, but that's about it. The facility is decent, but the members keep me away. I've seen way too much shady stuff go on there. Call a spade a spade and re-...

Hooligan, Any harsh cleaning of the metal and wood or "restoration" will kill the collector value. It's the easiest way to turn a $2000 all original k98 into a $600 gun. This is going on the assumption that the guns have never been dicked with. The best thing to do is remove the action fr...

OMG I thought that person had 4arms !!!!! Holy shit, fried eggs hanging on a nail! Yeah, what the f*ck is wrong with those. Anyway, inside a confined area, ANY gun is going to be loud. Even a .22 would probably at least leave your ears ringing for some time after. Use what you have, and worry about...

Hey, if you tell me that you'd whack me with a magazine of all things & that I'd like it, be prepared to step up to the plate. Unfortunately, he punked out when the card was pulled. Did he threaten to whack you with a magazine first? If it were a threat, it wouldn't have gotten that far. It's m...
