My wife is in the process of obtaining her CT permit, and starting to consider carry handguns. She's tried shooting various pistols and revolvers, but most of them are too heavy or the grip is too large for her comfort. Obviously, she has small hands. Anyone have any experience and/or advice on a su...

Sig Sauer P290RS

Anyone have any opinions of, or experience with, the Sig P290RS?

I'm looking for a small pocket pistol or IWB carry for daily use, and I don't want to go with a .380 or smaller caliber.

Thanks!

I got this from the CT Gun Talk forum, which has some fairly knowledgeable moderators and users: Did you happen to tell/inform the FFL's you spoke with that with PA 13-3 (and PA 13-220) the threaded barrel is no longer one of the "evil" features? PA 13-3: http://www.cga.ct.gov/2013/ACT/PA/...

Can the suppressor be easily removed and just leave the bare threads?

As you can tell, I really want to buy it!
