I got a FFL 03 because I mainly collect mil-surps and there is just not much down here so buying online is the only way for me to find what I want. I often browse through Gunbroker and I notice many seller have posted in their adds no sales to California even on old mil-surps. i guess they just don'...

Up until now BoBo has been shy about sticking his toe in the shark infested waters of gun control. He was dodging was to much flack over Obamacare. If he gets elected to a second term God help us. He will have nothing to lose. He can not be elelcted agian so you can just imaging what kind of stupidi...

Mabye we were triplets separated at birth! I always say if I am going to own an Ar the only choice would be the Ar-10! I did some research on them and read a bunch of reviews. Several people that had actually purchased kits from them and assembled them were very happy with them. They reported that t...

That is a great site with some great prices. Unfortunately they show out of stock on the 20" barrel which is what I wanted. The also all come with collapseable stocks and flash suppressors. The stock would be easy enough to replace but I guess the only way to make the barrel legal would be to r...

If I want to build an AR-10 would it be legal in Connecticut to build it on an Armalite receiver or are they considered to be the same as a colt reciever?

Illegal gun dealer and drug dealer in my neiborhood!

I was in shock when I saw the headline of the Norwalk Hour paper on May 13. This POS scum lives one street over from me and his house was only about 500 yards through the wood from me. I guess it is not to surprising that the really big time dealers hide out in the nice suberbs and not the hood. I d...

Here is the page from there site that explains what you need to do to be eligble to purchase from them. There are several different way to qualify. If you are not in the military or retired military the next easist way is to get you FFL 03 dealers license then you only have to be a member of one of ...

From what I heard these Garands were in very poor condition and were not stored properly. If the Chinese are going to do anything to them I can guarantee they will ruin any value left in them and I can almost guarantee they will not work properly. CMP is still the best deal in town and they still ha...

Thanks for the replies. Wooster is nice to shoot at. $20 bucks and you can stay as long as you want no time limit. Or in my case shooting WWII mil-surps until my shoulder starts to get a bit numb! Those Mosin M44 carbines have a pretty mean kick and the Mauser 98K is no love tap either. Mopar I did ...

As you can see I am located in Norwalk down in the Southwest part of the state so Wooster is a only about a 20 minute ride for me. I looked through here and I noticed most of you guys are way North of me down here. I was just interested to see if any of you ever shoot there. It is noting special but...

Thanks! That link was very informative. Isn't it silly that we need to have a wriiten law translated into English just to understand it. If you misunderstand it then you go to jail and are a convicted felon. Good thing my Pops is good freinds with our police chief and is his accountant! Because it s...

Ok forgive my ignorance on this new stuff as I said I am strickly a WWII rifle collector. Just so I am 100% sure on this. I can buy say an aftermarket AR type reciever and build it up out of parts and that is legal just as long as it is not maufactured by Colt or stamp or serialed as a Colt part? I ...

Thanks for the answer. As I said I only collect WWII stuff and trying to interpret the wacky way the law is wriiten is very confusing. I thought it might me a similar situation that I was reading about the AR rifles.
