Trap

Was a time that you could shoot 5 rounds on your "card" and either had to join or not shoot again. Are they allowing non-members to shoot? I heard that this is the case but it could have changed.

Can't help myself, I just like to screw around. If I want to shoot small groups at distance, I'll shoot my .308. Doesn't kick as hard either. I hate to sound like a downer, but 30-06 is a great round with plenty of accuracy potential, I don't see the benefit in reinventing it. I like to tinker as mu...

Been shooting the monthly highpower league at Bell City. Attendance is way down and unfortunately, I can see it going away. Was a time that I used to travel to NY, NH, and MA a lot to shoot matches but going alone isn't any fun. Would like to finish off my distinguished while I can still see (somewh...

What so do with 30-06 brass

I have 34 pounds of mixed headstamp, 40's and 50's vintage brass. I don't load for the Garrand but have thought that I might use it for conversion to another caliber. Thought it would be a cool project but as time goes on I figure I'm kidding myself, not as ambitious as I used to be. The time has co...

I'm not going to comment on the price but Starline brass is very good. I've used it in .357, .22 Hornet, and .45 ACP. I think it's one of the best and if buying new, it's my first choice.

S&W warranty service

 by xring ¦  Sun Apr 14, 2013 6:04 pm ¦  Forum: Pistol ¦  Topic: S&W warranty service ¦  Replies: 1 ¦  Views: 2262

I have a S&W 67-1 .38 special revolver (70's or early 80's) that is malfunctioning. Suddenly the cylinder does not lock in and when I can get it to lock in, the trigger doesn't want to pull back. I am not the original purchaser and am wondering if they will cover it under warranty service? I can...

I've heard that we will register in 2013 and they will go for full confiscation in 2014, not sure if it's "assault weapons" or everything. I'm sure we will be hearing more about this in the near future.

Assault Target Pistols

Attention all, the brain-trust in Hartford just made your Pardini, Hammerli, Walther, and other high end target pistols assault weapons. They all may have that evil magazine forward of the pistol grip. IDIOTS!

They are a bunch of freaking idiots, are you listening to them? Would you have voted for any of them after listening to them speak when they were on the campaign trail? Don't worry, they know what we need!

I shot one a while back and it had an unbelievable trigger pull. Are they all that good?

I also have a Marvel. Shoots .75 groups at 50 yards. I use it for Bullseye and besides outstanding accuracy, shoots CCI standard velocity with almost perfect functioning. Of course the trigger on my Springfield is very good also.

Hope the wife doesn't see this. She gave me a hard time a few years back when I bought a $400 hat.... I heard there's also a deal on becoming a Patron member. If they ever needed funds, they need it now or should I say WE need it now!

Good turnout but there should have been more, people are angry as they should be. I missed the news tonight and am wondering if we got more than the 20 seconds that I estimated we would get? Anyone catch the officer taking a pic out from one of the balcony's, I guess he was proud as well to be there!

Ill post here what i posed on his fb page. This has nothing to do with pressure or knuckling under. Not one bit. What he is flat out saying is: Hoffmans will no longer honor a two week wait. He wants to be paid now, and have the rifle go out now, vs two weeks from now. He's just flat it being greed...
