We probably aren't supposed to mention politics but we all know what the last couple of elections did to the ammo supply. Just having the ability to keep yourself supplied is really comforting. You don't need to start with the gold plated stuff. There is probably enough quality ammo put out on Lee e...

I've been trying to beat my Ruger MK1 to death since I got it in 73. So far I've changed the mag release and the front sight. Neither one because it broke or wasn't serviceable , but because I found one that worked better for me. The front sight on a MK1 short bull hung up on my holster. So I got a ...

I got mine about a year ago, and then took it to Idaho for an enhanced CCW class. It shoots a lot better than I do. My wife waxes my butt with her Kimber but that's nothing new. It doesn't make sense to pay a $15 fee to ship a $2 part. The area where I live is , is either 70, or 300 miles from the shop that MAY have the p...

I live in the heart of what Time mag. called" the empty corridor", or as the owner of the local grocery store says" where you have to drive 60 miles to buy a pair of socks". You don't see a lot of old rifles that aren't lever action.I thought these rifle would be seen more often ...

Need .25 remington loads.

I just traded a 96 Swede for a model 8 rem. in .25 Rem. which I knew 0.0 about. Took it home for the usual take apart, and cleaning. You could eat off this thing. It was dry as we worry more about grit than rust up here. I shot up the box of ammo that I could find, and it's a hoot to shoot. the rifle...
