I tried about ten times, but every time I did that image verification, it said it was wrong. So I gave up.

Well at 10 weeks and a day I got a letter saying all my paper work was in and come by to pick up my temp. local permit. One hour later I left DPS in Middletown with my new 5 year. Now to do some shopping.

I keep reading about people waiting and waiting for a permit. It almost seems like some bigger cities want to discourage gun ownership by making people wat forever.
Are there any towns that are more gun friendly than others, and would that determine wait times?

I would take the notice to the Wolcott Police dept and write a letter (addressed to the chief) explaining what happened.
