In 2004 someone broke into my house and stole a 1923 or 1924 Swedish Mauser. This is an all matching number gun. I have a little brass plate I had made with the date of the gun on it, but it was so long ago I always mix up 1923 and 24. Suffice to say if you have either just check to see if there is ...

I don't have the facilities to do Nickel plating, but, this is a restoration of a locked up rusted pistol that was in a tackle box. Slow rust blued, niter blued pins and hardware. Re-finished woodwork and mercury stripped the bore of lead. http://i885.photobucket.com/albums/ac51/rattletrap1970/Guns/...

I am a design engineer by "trade". And I've been doing this stuff for a long, long time. I do Aluminum Type II anodizing, fume bluing, rust bluing, niter bluing, (color case hardening if I have to). Glass and pillar bedding, ruger MK 1,2 & 3 trigger jobs, and 1911 work. For a living? N...

This is an Alpine M1 Carbine, one of the few non-GI carbines that is parts interchangable with a GI carbine. It was at an estate sale of some hoarder and the pipes burst in the house. I picked this gun up for $50 I spent $125.00 on a stock from the CMP and $15.00 for a GI rear sight (the one on the ...

I picked up this M1 Garand at an estate sale. Water pipes in the house of some old horder burst and soaked the place. The first inch of the barrel was un-repairable. The stock was completely saturated through and was covered in mold. I got this rifle for $50. I put the following into it: $147 Walnut...

I picked this up off a friend for $200 The finish was beat, the barrel was floating all over the place, the bushing was worn out, and some knot head hand drilled 10 holes in the dust cover for mounting some piece of crap scope mount. $170 bucks for a Brown match barrel and bushing. $35 on an extende...
