It's the squarest pistol known to man. And being neutered to 10 rounds many other guns are now a better choice in my opinion.

I've got no experience with cerakote but I've worked with duracoat for a long time. Prep is huge. I mean really huge. The spray can will do for touch ups or just making something ugly half way decent. I'd get an airbrush setup if you're looking to make anything look good though. Areas that were prep...

Did anyone go to the meeting? What happened in New York last week?

I've considered doing this myself. My guess would be every gun being turned in is headed there for a reason though. Either just plain illegally possessed, or quasi-legal and a paperwork headache. IE...the little old lady with her husband's unregistered pistol he bought through the mail in the 50s. H...

Pike county? That would save some time. The only place I could find any info was Centre county where I originally got my permit via US mail. That's about 5 hrs from central CT. How did you find out where to go? Is that where you originally got your's?

PA non-resident carry permit

I'm taking a ride out to Pennsylvania next week to renew my carry permit. Anyone do this recently? Is it as painless as it appears?

Can we still buy 80% lowers legally? I assumed it was illegal now.

An old friend of mine is running for State Rep in the 22nd district. (Mostly Plainville) He's pro 2A, pro term limits, and wants to shrink government. Great all around guy and a exactly the type of person we need to step up. Unaffiliated with any party. Take a look at his website and pass it along t...

Sportsman's outpost is probably the closest good shop to North Haven. Unless they're swamped, most any archery shop will do it while you wait. Archery guys typically get absurdly serious about gear so someone may chime in and suggest I jump off a bridge for this but my advice...bowstring is a pass/f...

Absolutely legal to carry on your person in a car with a permit. Also legal to remove the loaded gun and place it in a console/storage compartment for comfort and safety while driving so long as it's not accessible to children or persons prohibited from possessing a gun. (by yourself in car) I agree...

Nope. As long as it's not accessible to kids/felons riding in your car you're perfectly legal. Mine is usually in the console when I'm driving longer than a few minutes. Although unwise, I'm pretty sure it's not even illegal to leave a loaded gun in an unoccupied, locked car.

Shotgun recoil

 by AGust82 ¦  Sat May 31, 2014 9:27 pm ¦  Forum: Shotgun ¦  Topic: Shotgun recoil ¦  Replies: 2 ¦  Views: 2667

I'm on a mission to get my wife comfortable shooting a shotgun for HD purposes. I feel like it's a matter of finding the right gun/load combination but maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone have much experience shooting buckshot from a light .410? Does it kick any less than a 12/20? I've tried every setup I ...

It's all coming back. It was Allstate and that is where they used to be. They moved fairly recently I heard. You go to DMV and computer test for a learner's permit, then enroll in school. A DMV instructor will come to the school every few Saturdays and do mass amounts of road tests. I was LAST of pr...

You'll need a passenger endorsement as well to drive buses. Similar to a pistol permit in ways, apply, wait, go back to DMV... You have to pass some level of background check first to get it. I got my B license through AAA commercial driver training down near you in Shelton. It's on 110 just north o...
