This will only take 1-2 minutes of your time. It's very simple to do, and EVERY gun owner in CT can and should do it. Governor Malloy is asking for a wide variety of input from the public on current regulations that affect Connecticut citizens in numerous ways. It is currently a violation of state r...

I have seen the permit. It looks a lot like a Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers. There IS a picture on it. I did some checking, and you are correct. Even though the application implies it can be mailed in, you MUST submit the initial application in person at the Country Club Rd location in Midd...

CCDL was instrumental in getting the local ban on concealed carry removed. All forms of lawful carry are now permitted in New Britian.

Looks like we'll be getting the mother of all gun control bills rammed down our throats this week. According to this article in the CT Post , legislators are planning to enact the strongest gun control laws in the entire country. CCDL is asking everyone to make one big last push. CALL, or at least e...

Looks like Malloy and Looney's wet dream gun bill will be coming up for an E-CERT vote next week. That means no hearing. No public comment. Right to a vote and signed by the Governor; just like in NY. We need to stop this thing!

There will be public hearings for gun-related bills on Tuesday March 19th and again on Friday March 22nd. If you can't make it, at least email testimony. Tuesday's bill would require mandatory liability insurance and self defense insurance. Friday's hearing is finally something we can support. To re...
