I had an iteresting time at HRG on Sunday afternoon. Mitchell Lake and the others did a great job explaning the current realities of self defense and the law in Connecticut.
Now to find some real training.

Please respectfuuly contact your Connecticut state Senator and Representative and ask them to vote against Malloy and his stooges

NY just said they are repealing the 7 round mag limit because of fear of "mass civil disobedince" Keep hamering our reps, make them fear the same thing, and continue to remind them in EVERY letter or email, they are EMPLOYEED by us and we will fire them. John, where can we find a link to ...
I'd like to thank all the volunteers who helped with Lobby Day and thank Cabela's for the shuttle buses. The LOB parking was filled up when I got there so I popped over to Cabela's and took the shuttle. Cabela's parking was about as full as I've ever seen it. I'm sure there were thousands of gun rig...
Denick, Thanks for the info. I like the part about the "scowling, growling and short tempers". It sounds like my job sometimes too.
And thanks for the heads-up on the March 14th “Gun Day” for public hearings in room 2C of the LOB.
On the CTNews/Hearst poll, why would anyone oppose a registry of people convicted of a gun crime? Yet more that 26% said this is a bad idea. Depends on the "Gun Crime". I suppose a registry of all the "gun crime" people who own a magazine that holds more than 10 rounds would be ...
Did them both, plus I sent emails to my legislators and all of the legislators on the "CT Gun Violence Task Force" I noticed the recent Quinnipiac University poll on gun control shows overwhelming support for universal background checks and every other type of intrusive and abusive governm...
There is a fairly well-written article in the Hartford Courant entitled: "America's Rifle: Rise Of The AR-15" Here's the link: http://www.courant.com/business/hc-haar-ar-15-it-gun-20130308,0,6462656.column?page=5 They touch on the rifle's advanced design and popularity with an estimated 5 ...
I have a question about parking on Lobby Day (Monday). Will ordinary citizens be allowed to park in the Legislative Office Building (LOB) parking lot? This might be more convenient for some attendees than taking the shuttle from Cabelas which is about five miles from the LOB. I get the picture on th...
Thanks for the heads-up. It looks like it will be interesting
According to this web article in the CT Post, Next year's gubernatorial hopefull Tom Foley is a bit soft on our Constitutional rights to bear arms. It's bad enough that the current governor wants to restrict our rights, but this other guy doesn't sound like he's much better. "I do believe that ...
A quick Google search for Sears model 2200 came back with Savage M34 or 65
Is it a bolt action .22 rimfire rifle with detachable box magazine?
Sears had lots of different gun suppliers, but they don't sell rifles anymore.
The gun-grabbers don't care that the perp in Newtown broke many felony laws that are already on the books. They are using this as an excuse to infringe on our rights as US citizens. In a way they are continuing Lanza's rampage and taking it to everybody in the country. They are taking it into our ow...
Barry and his minions are taking a lot more than 10 percent. Also, he isn't my king. He's not even a good president
Personally, I have No King But King Jesus!
Beautiful looking pistol! I hope you have good luck with it
