Hey, I'm at every hearing. I can tell you how it goes: "why did you deny" "he was arrested in 1996" "was that your basis for your denial" "yes, that and suitability" "Without looking at your record, can you testify from memory?" "yes sir, we hav...

If you were arrested, you indeed need to put it down. I don't agree with it, but it must be done or else you will be going into a hearing with a strike against you for an improperly filled out application.. It gets worse, they can even used erased records in your BFPE hearing. Thanx to our courts, R...

Couldn't have gone to a better guy.

My rep, who I have contacted on numerous occasions, doesn't know my name.

Rob...... I have gotten to know well. He represents his district, and CT well.

Um, exactly that.

We were there, you weren't. They asked US questions.

I can say that after walking away after the council meeting, things seemed to go good.

They asked us questions AFTER the public comment portion for clarification. Which they didn't have to do.

For clarity..... we were clear that we are not against open carry. We mentioned on more than one occasion that CT la is a permit to carry - period.

Council seemed to "get it"...... after a little bit of discussion.

They were told what the state law is - carry as you choose. The change to the ordinance is geared towards making New Britain the same as CT. On a few occasions, they were thinking the state law was concealed carry - and they were corrected on that a few times as well. As it stands now, they motion i...

Almost any small shop can detract business from Cabelas. Man, the time it takes just to look at an overpriced firearm on the weekend is insane.

I used to put Hoffman's in this camp. I've see some changes. Granted, I probably go there more than anyone else, but there are some employees that try to do a good job. Years ago, I had issues. Sloppy service, misinformed, etc But I see a better crop now. Keep in mind, they are just plain BUSY as al...

Yep. They don't even want you using reloads anymore. They want factory ammo for the live fire portion of the class. I think any instructor that does that should be arrested and charged with the crime and NOT have them run concurrently. Send a STRONG message. I had one student tell me something simil...

Seems like whenever I go to Hoffman's, they have a massive amount of ammo and at the same prices they normally sell it for. Not lately. Scott buys in HUGE volume, hence the prices on common ammo being cheaper than online (dirt!). However, they have sold out relatively quick. I think he bought a tru...

http://www.howardleight.com/ear-muffs/impact-sport--2 Work great for me, low profile, less than $60.00. IIRC, bought them off of AMAZON. +1 I picked up the same ones at Dick's (their brand) but the same set on sale for 40 bucks. So, there are local options as well. I also started wearing the SureFi...

Many people just don't drill all the way through. I drill all the way through, popping the pin back out is EASY. Then, I can extend it (I do this for my son now). Works really well and I have NO problems. Of course, it depends on whether you try to pin from the bottom, or the side. I pin from the si...

Some good customers frequent that place. I almost miss it, stopped going about five months ago. I joined a club and now there's no going back for me!!! Maybe socially, who knows....... Clubs are just heaps cheaper and often a little more "free" as in what you can and can't do. I like Blue ...
