Advice like yours, not Valley Firearms', will get one arrested.

It's like buying a gun on GunBroker from an individual in a different state and having it shipped directly to your door. That it's in NY is irrelevant.

Only thing I could think of is to base access on a restricted sub-section to join date, rather than post count. i.e., must have been a member for 2/3/XX amount of months before you gain access. Maybe even a combination, XX amount of months and XX number of posts.

Sounds pretty "progressive," that mindset. A "yeah, sure...that's ok" today will be a "wait, what? No, don't!" tomorrow...and it'll be too late.

Balls to the wall, boys.

Pretty obvious he's pandering to the uninformed crowd that doesn't know about 2 week background checks, and what his decision REALLY means, business-wise (cough, cash-grab, cough). That, along with the politicians and informed-yet-ignorant crowd.

I had a buddy order one in Feb 2012 and he just picked it up over the Christmas break. Is this a typical wait??? Sounds like Kel-Tec to me. They've got everybody by the balls. Unless, of course, you buy used or on the secondary market, and then you're paying outrageous prices. That's what's been ke...

Chickenshit move that speaks volumes about them.

Then again, I was never too passionate about what's essentially the Wal-Mart of gun stores in CT.

"Dedicated funding for ATF" Yeah. Millions and millions of firearms flooding JUST the ATF? I don't think so. Local municipalities will be inundated along with the ATF. The costs will be staggering on both state and federal levels, and it will be a logistical nightmare. But hey, not like we...

Impeach someone that's been working for the government in one way or another since 1960?

I think I'll start counting how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop instead.

But hey, we can dream, right? :D

Lol. Don't talk to that person about guns anymore. Converting a Saiga has its' own set of rules with regards to "evil features" per the CT assault weapons feature list, as well as 922r. Do your homework. AK47 and variants of the AK47 are banned by name in CT...essentially any AK that takes...

AK is legendarily reliable, rugged as all hell, and has an almost unlimited aftermarket with relatively cheap accessories. VZ is lighter and points easier, simpler in design and more robust in construction, but the aftermarket is a bit more limited and mags are pricey. Kinda uglier than the AK and d...
